On the occasion of World Refugee Day on June 20, the BNP Paribas Foundation and SINGA Global announce the signing of a three-year partnership.

This partnership will enable the creation of two incubators in Europe to provide refugees with entrepreneurial projects with the necessary support and expertise, including collective support from experts, individual support, and mentoring. Entrepreneurs also have access to a large local community, which is essential for the success of their projects.

By joining forces with the BNP Paribas Foundation, SINGA Global, which is already present in 18 cities, is continuing its development with the launch of two new incubators in Europe, the first one in Marseille and the second in a European Mediterranean country. These two incubators’ objective is to provide refugee people with personalized support for their entrepreneurial projects, so they can reveal their potential and create companies or organizations with impact.

In addition to the sponsorship support, SINGA Global will also be able to draw on the expertise and network of the BNP Paribas Group, which is present in the two cities concerned.

“A pioneer in its support for the integration of refugees, the BNP Paribas Foundation has decided to consolidate its commitment by joining forces with SINGA Global, a key player committed to this cause, and whose innovative mission focused on the economic inclusion of refugees, is perfectly in line with the actions carried out by the BNP Paribas Group in favor of developing entrepreneurship. We are happy to support them for a minimum of three years, at a time when the issue of climate refugees and refugees from Ukraine are particularly topical.” – Isabelle Giordano, Head of Group Philanthropy and General Delegate of the BNP Paribas Foundation

“We are pleased that the BNP Paribas Foundation is committed to SINGA Global to reveal the opportunity that the talents of newcomers represent for France and Europe.” – Benoit Hamon, CEO SINGA Global
